Hey, I am running the latest version of Mac OS 10.6.6, PD6, and Windows 7. I had a clean install and things seem to be running except I can never get the internet connection to share the first time I launch PD6 & the VM. Once the initial startup goes through, I have to restart the VM and then the connection shares just fine. Any advice on how to get it to share properly on the first try? Thanks.
Anyone able to help me out here? Still happening...pretty consistent. Shared internet connection doesn't work the first time. If I reboot the VM, then it works. Sometimes takes a 3rd time. Any help? Thanks.
Hi, Please when next time you'll find that internet doesn't work, click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all". Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID.

Was this really the situation when internet doesn't work? I don't see anything specific in the report.. I can either suggest remote session with you to investigate the issue directly on your computer or try to disconnect Network (from the menu of Parallels or using network icon at the bottom of Parallels Desktop while in windowed mode) and connect it back in 5 seconds If you agree with session, send me your email via forum's private message and acceptable timeframe. I have not gotten the issue resolved but that is mostly on me. I haven't had a chance to set up a remote session with the support guys here but we are planning on doing that tomorrow. I will let you know if we get everything resolved.
DanP16, I 'don't know if our issues are in any way alike, but here is how my problem was fixed today. Update on this issue...it has been resolved thanks to Parallels' great support staff! It was a known problem between Bonjour & Windows 7 interacting with a specific 3rd party software. The support session with Parallels found the issue and fixed it for me via a webex conference...all is well now.
