I'm using current beta (RC2) on a new Macbook with 2 gb ram. Overall, it works fine (Windows XP Pro). However, after using Parallels for awhile (perhaps having it open a few hours), I am finding that I frequently completely lose my mac airport connection (and pc connection of course). If I click on the airport icon in the finder menu, it shows I'm connected, but I'm not. If I turn airport off, then back on, the network no longer appears.

It requires a reboot of the mac to get the connection back (or perhaps a log off/on, but haven't tried that).

I searched, but didn't find this problem.... anyone else have any experience with this?

I've had this problem since the first public beta of parallels (like as in 9-10 months ago) and I've come to accept it sadly. Back then, there were lots of threads on this topic. Over time, I've found it only happens on certain wireless networks. I've never been able to determine if it's a network topology issue or perhaps something do to with a specific brand of AP. In any case, I only have this problem at my office Wifi, so while I'm there I just plug in. At home, I have no problems at all. Occasionally I have the same issue at customer locations and I once again hunt for an ethernet jack.
