Interesting what will run on Windows 11/Parallels and what won't

I have Windows 11 for ARM installed on a M1 iMac using Parallels 17. What I find interesting is I can get some Steam games (Bioshock Infinite and Black Mesa) to run without issues, but two older programs - Microsoft Links Golf 2003 and Lotus Approach - nope. Links will install and open with the screen resolution totally off - can only see part of the initial screen. Lotus will also install and run, but locks up or flickers when I try to change screens to print a letter from the database.
Just think it is strange that it is easier to get newer programs to run but older stuff - that had much lower requirements - nada.
Any ideas/suggestions I can try because those are really the only two programs that I would love/need to get running at this point.
    Thanks

I will try that but the program ran on my previous iMac and Windows 10 both under Parallels and Bootcamp without a display issue. Thanks but I think it is something related to the M1 chip and possibly Rosetta.

Funny thing. Something I did not expect. After trying to play with resolution settings in Links 2003, I must have accidentally changed the resolution settings for Windows 11 itself. After uninstalling Links, I played with the resolution for Windows 11 and "scaling" and while I could not get Links to run - it kept actually forcing the VM into Suspend mode (so I guess Links' issue has something to do with the video), Lotus Approach worked perfectly! Why the resolution setting for Windows 11 itself would cause Approach to have issues changing to the various print format screens I don't have a clue. But as long as I don't have Windows set to a really high resolution (it is now set for 4480x2520 but with the scaling set to 400%) Approach runs, switches views and prints perfectly. (Now if I could just find some proper settings for Links to run.....)
