I'd really like to see a feature that allows me to set default programs that work between running VM's and my Mac. For instance, I could set my default mail program in OS X to be a particular VM and any mailto: links would delegate to that VM for handling (ie. open in Outlook). This should also work vice-versa. I can set my mail handler in a Parallels VM to be "Host" and it will delegate back to the Mac Host OS to handle these links. This would be great for things like how to open PDF documents, Office Documents, etc. The two most important for me are email and browser though. There are lots of complications I have not fully thought through. As an example, what happens if the VM is not running (could fallback to default, could start the VM, could be an error (BAD)). Anyway, just a convenience idea for those of us that do end up spending most of the day in both systems but love the tools in one over the others.
+1. I have remote access to my office that only works (fully) in Internet Explorer. Would love to be able to send Entourage e-mail from Internet Explorer.
