Hello, I'm generally quite happy with Parallels 5. However, I've several times now experienced that after I shut down the VM, shut down Parallels, and restart the Mac, the Mac's initial screen resolution as it's booting up (gray screen with little loading wheel) is incorrect - namely, it is 800 x 600 (judged from the black borders at each side of the screen, rather large loading wheel). When the Mac then switches to the blue loading screen, just prior to showing its login panel, it also switches to its native resolution (which in my case happens to be 1280x800). I run one VM with Windows 7 on it. I run it in full screen (=native Mac resolution of 1280x800). The issue usually arises after I've used a very memory intensive application such as a game that plays in full screen, 800x600. Since this is happening *after* I've shut down Parallels I can't generate a problem report. MacBook Air late 2008, 2 GB, 20 Gig left on Mac's hard drive, 5 GB left on the VM's virtual hard drive (I don't do BootCamp), 1.6 GHz processors, 1 of which is assigned to the VM, the VM has 1024 MB memory assigned to it, the VM's graphics card has 128 MB. Help please. Thanks!
