I actually don't own Desktop for Mac yet, but I tried the VirtueDesktop + Virtual PC together and it was very handy! BUT it could be more handier. Could you possible integrate something like this into parallels desktop for mac? Like fast switch -keycombo? You could just run parallels desktop, then minimize it into the bar or activate some new fullscreen-mode, that would minimize it into the bar and then with the correct key-combo some 3d-effect would bring in the full screen? This mode would be available for every virtual machine, so you could actually achieve what the VirtueDesktop makes, but without the need to use any virtual desktops? It would decrease the steps to make the os switch happen and eliminate the 3rd party program from between. This would be very cool "full screen" mode.
Already there... You should download the trial because this functionality is basically there already, especially if you change the preference to lose full screen when Parallels loses focus.
Yes, I know.. I was mostly referring to those cool switcheffects they have in VirtueDesktop. I'm sorry if I talk about things that are already there, all I can do is ready because I don't have my Macbook Pro yet. But great to hear!
Transitions already available: Here are the transitions already available: Slide, Fade, Zoom, Reveal, Warp, Cube, Switch, and Flip If you put Parallels in full screen, and you use the customizable key combination to exit full screen, or to lose focus on the application, it will use the transition you've selected from the app's preferences. Or you can keep it full screen, disable focus without exiting full screen, then using Virtue's key combination to switch over to a new desktop.
