I have a Macbook Pro with Parallels. I don't think i created a partition for parallels when I installed it. I am installing XP right now and it is asking if I want to create a partition for XP or not.

    What should I do?

Also, my mac is on a PC network which I hope to access via the Windows XP guest. Do I need to do anything to make that work?

Btw, I am a total novice when it comes to computers.

    Thanks
    Ari

    .
You need to read the documentation about installing Parallels. In particular, the bit about creating disk space for your VM. I would recommend a static disk.

Then you need to read the documentation about installing a Windwoes guest OS.
