    HI

I'm using Parallels 3186 ... all works for Win XP great.

For various (unimportant) reasons I'm trying to install Win 95

So far I have made a boot disk image ... created a 1 GIG partition and succesfully formatted it. It shows up as a empty C: drive.

Now, I can freshly reboot from the Boot disk image and run Set Up exe from a Win 95 disk.

However after copying the the setup files (all with Win 95 splash screens) it halts saying the that set up has detected a drive Cache or compression on the hard drive...

    Anyone got any suggestions please?

Is it to do with the VM hard drive being set to expandable?

    Thanks in advance

    Lee

PS ... I have trawled the forum extensively to get this far ... can't find this problem!

Don't know... Try making it larger and a set size, the disk doesn't expand as you would expect...

Cheers if you can get Win 95 working well, it's not supported, nor does it have tools.
