I just received Parallels from an order placed with New Egg. Obviously it is not the newest release. I want to install it using the boot camp partition and the copy of XP that I will be installing there. 1. Can I download the newest version and install it without having yet installed the older version I just received? 2. If I can do this, how do I then confirm to the installation that it is indeed an upgrade to a product that I have already paid for? Normally I'd just install the older version first then upgrade but, from what I understand, I won't be able to use the boot camp partition (I am planning on installing boot camp first). Thanks!
OK....I found the registration key on the back of my disk envelope. Sorry for the dumb question....but one more please: If I install the 1970 build of Parallels, then decide I can't live without Boot Camp, can I then install Boot Camp at a later date? And still use only one installation of Windows XP?
