    Hi,
I've been unable to install Parallels on this Suse 10.2 box.
I've made sure that kernel-sources, glibc, a bunch of gcc stuff and make is installed.
I have also sent this to parallels support but after over a week I haven't heard from them.

    Thanks in advance.

I did the install as in the user's guide. Then I try to do a "parallels-config" and I get this message:
    Compiling Parallels Workstation 2.2 drivers...

Can not compile and/or link drivers. Read /usr/lib/parallels/doc/INSTALL
and follow instructions specified in this document.

Compilation log is available at /usr/lib/parallels/comp.log.2645.error

    Here is the log file:

    Hi Don,
I have Parallels 2.2.2112 , I don't remember how I installed it, either with zen by right clicking the file or by going to a terminal and using the command, "rpm -i Parallels-2.2.2112-lin.i386.rpm". without quotes. Would it make any difference?

    Config as root.

    Solved.
Today Suse auto updater updated the kernel and now it works. Don't you just love it when puters fix themselves?
