I've just run through the Fedora Core 5 installation process for the third time and each time it results in a blank screen at startup (with only the X mouse cursor, which does respond to mouse movements). I've found the kernel option to allow more memory (mem=nopentium), but I've got the VM set to 512 MB, which was found to work without that change. I'm not even sure how to debug this, but I suspect the video card isn't being detected. I'm running Parallels desktop for Mac build 1848.2 (June 26, 2006) on a MacBook Pro and installing with the Fedora Core 5 DVD ISO that I downloaded from red hat just a few days ago. Has anyone had similar issues, and if so, how were they solved? Mark
