I have a customer with aprox. 80 thin clients and 80 fat clients and wanted to install the ApplicationServer for that site. found out that the thin client are installed with win CE OS (chippc.com). any way to install the client on win CE? Thanks,
windows ce is not possible to install on Windows XPe clients can do aslong as they have the latest RDP6 msclient installed also
I've checked more about this chippc thin client and found out that it can work only with win-ce. the box is running MIPS processor. after asking the company, they told me that if i want it is possible to load it with boot pxe (as they are using it to update the win-ce os. my second Q is: Is it possible to load 2X OS for thin clients on MIPS machines? BTW, found out in thier web site they are suppling to the German RZF - Financial Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia County over 20,000 units of thin clients based win-ce os.
