    Hi all,

I am a new Parallels (Win) user and have the latest version installed with XP as my host. I am trying to install Vista Ultimate RTM as a guest. For some reason, the install appears to delete to RC2 (which must be a Parallels thing since I cannot imagine that Microsoft included RC2 on the RTM disk. The installation appears to go ahaerd anyway, but I cannot enter my valid key - Vista complains that it is not a valid key.

My guess is that Parallels has not been updated to work with Vista Ultimate RTM as a host, but feedback would be appreciated. As it is, Vista appears to be operating, but activation is impossible.

    Thanks!

    Hmm,

I must have been asleep when I typed that. Let me rephrase :)

Parallels will not let me enter a valid key code for either Vista Ultimate or Vista Business. In the previous message, I talk about RC2 and I cannot imagine it is even present on the DVD. When I said "delete to RC2", I meant DEFAULT to RC2 according to the install. However, I think it actually installed Ultimate. In any event, I canot enter a valid key code.

    Thanks!
