There have been approximately 37 minutes remaining for setup to complete for over an hour now. It's in the "Installing Windows" section and is "Installing Devices," but the progress bar has not moved since 37 minutes remaining has been up. What should I do? Also, could it have been that I let my display go black, which somehow messed up the installation process?

    Try to follow steps bellow:
    1. Create new VM using custom installation mode
    2. Disable Intel-VT-X and Hardware acceleration

For the second step, could you give me specific instructions on how to do this?

    Yes, sure ;)
Please, open VMs Configuration Editor -> click on some item (Hard disk1, for example) -> choose Options (first in the list) -> Advanced

Make sure the Enable Intel VT-x support option is selected. If you run a guest OS with VT-x enabled, the Virtualization Mode flag in the Parallels Desktop -> About Parallels Desktop -> More Options dialog shows Intel VT-x.

To open Configuration Page do one of the following:

Start Parallels Desktop. While pressing the Command key in the Select virtual machine dialog highlight the desired virtual machine and click the Select button.
While pressing the Command key, double-click the virtual machine alias.
