I installed Parallels on my home computer, and it's been working great. Now I was wondering if it would be possible to install it on a external hard drive and use it on both my home computer and my work computer. In order to do this, both Parallels and Windows should be installed on the external drive. Please help. Thank you, W. Suh
talled within win xp and also the one I get when I go to my mac side under the print window and options I am given. Do
parallels EULA requires a license to be purchased for each computer it is running on, so you'd have to violate that to do what you want. that said, if you purchase a copy of parallels for each computer, you can certainly keep the virtual machine on an external drive and move it between computers fairly effortlessly.
Tony is right. You can use one virtual machine with 2 or more Macs and carry it on an external harddrive, but you need all copied of Parallels desktop to be purchased separately (on each computer).
@Tony, @Parallels - ah, that makes sense. I'll have to talk to my boss about purchasing a few licences. Thanks!!!
