First I would like to say Parallels has done a top job with the Crystal view mode. But there was one thing that really annoyed me and that was you can not make a new VM when your in Crystal mode. Sure you can come out of crystal but the sight of windows desktop on my mac just makes me ill. My solution would be to move all the settings to a Parallels' System Preferences Pane. It would keep Parallels invisiblity and give you back all the funtionality of other view modes.
