Imaging question - newbie questions

I just got paralells today and installed it on my work mac. Were looking at introducing macs into our work environment and were working on getting an image working on them. But until everything is ready, I want to use paralells to run our current PC image along with the mac seamlessly.

So first question is I have a pc with the image I want to run on my mac. Whats the best way to get it on a bootcamp partition on my mac? I have my bootcamp partition set at the same size currently running windows 7 as a test. But whats the best to transfer the data from the drive in the PC to my partition?

Second question is network based. While running IE in paralells I can surf the network ok. But eventually what I want to do is connect to our VPN from the PC side. But once the VPN is connected I want the mac apps to run on the VPN network as well. I saw some different network settings, but didn't know which one would be best for this. Any suggestions?
