    Hi everyone,

I am wondering and using google i could not find any solution: i am using parallels 7 on my iMac.
    Installed Parallels.

My question is: can i make an image of the host (OS X lion) and use it within Parallels? My host is running fine
and i need Parallels so i can fiddle around with certain programs within the guest OS X lion.

I seem to know that you can image the bootcamp partition this way but it is possible to image the guest?

Anyone know how to do this (if possible)? I don't want to install OS X and all programs again, but now in the guest...

    Thanks, Kris

Backup using Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner. Create a OS X Lion VM from scratch, restore the backup into the VM like you would on a real OS X machine.

Hi Specimen, thanks for your answer!

I was walking around with my head in the clouds i think....surely this is ok to work with.
I have already and it works!

Thanks again, if only more people were so helpful.

    Cheers,
    Kris
