Like the title says, just wondered if I should upgrade frm build 3036 - what would be good reasons for doing so? If any?
I installed 3170 on my wife's Mini over the weekend. Nothing broke. There were no new features that were needed, so functionally it was a zero-gain. The real gain is 3170 uses less memory and far less CPU. Even that is not important because her system never goes near the limit for any resource except for disk space. My laptop gets severly abused, though, and 3170 was a helpful upgrade - I run several vm's, frequently concurrently.
