Illustrator CS2 Mouse Weirdness

Hi,

I'm using b6 and have noticed a weird... 'lack of focus' in illustrator, for lack of a better term. When I use Illustrator CS2 (haven't tried any of the others) I can't click on node points, I have to click a few pixels above them or off to the side. I've noticed this with small buttons and the like as well - mouse resolution seems to be just a little off. This is on my MBP 15" in both window and full screen mode. Anybody have any idea on how to fix this?

 

I have noticed the same in Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Mouse seems to be off a few pixels.

I have noticed the same thing in Lotus Notes R7 client.
