I am a developer and need access to my IIS. My XP guest has a ton of websites installed that I would like to be able to test and access from the Host OsX browser. Any ideas? My OSx is a Macbook Pro. The guest os is XP. The XP machine name is "wwalkerxponmac". In a perfect world, I would be able to enter the guest's machine name or IP address into my Host's web browser. It does not work. Even ping to the guest IP address fails.
Update: I CANNOT ping the guest Windows XP ip address - from another Windows XP or from the Host os. The guest Windows XP CAN ping both the Host os and another networked Windows XP machine.
