My local store has Parallels 12 in store, since I would prefer to buy with invoice and buying online would make much more complicated, I was wondering if I buy a version of Parallels 12 from my local Apple reseller do I have free upgrade to 13?

I really hate subscription model software, but I was wondering if once the subscription expires can I still use latest downloaded version?

Any discount if I opt to buy full version online? My last version is Paralles 10 and for Parallels people seems too old for an upgrade

    Hello @AlainF1 ,

For customers who purchased and registered a copy of Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac from the Parallels Online Store or an authorized reseller on or after August 1, 2017 through October 31, 2017, are eligible for an upgrade to the next version of Parallels Desktop for Mac at no charge. if you are eligible please refer http://kb.parallels.com/124229 to get your free upgrade key.

If you purchase a subscription-based license when the subscription has expired Parallels Desktop will be locked until you activate it with an active license key. If you do not want to pay annually then you can purchase Parallels Desktop Home edition which is available for a one-time purchase. Please refer http://kb.parallels.com/122929 to find the difference between 1-Time Purchase and a Subscription for Parallels Desktop.
    Thanks, Alfena
