Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. My old Mac broke down a week ago. I still have to take it to the Apple Store, but the HD is broken and I don't expect to be able to recover the data. How can I move my Parallels Desktop license to the new Mac Studio? I have been a user of the official Parallels website for many years and I am obviously up to date with the payment. I guess this question is very easy but it has me blocked. Thank you for your answers.
Hello @AngelS6 , Thank you for your feedback. To re-activate your Parallels Desktop license to a new Mac, please follow the steps below: 1. Using your web browser, download the latest version of Parallels Desktop here. 2. Launch the downloaded .dmg file, double-click on Install Parallels Desktop.app, and wait for the installation to complete successfully. 3. Go to Finder > Applications > Parallels Desktop to start the application. 4. Sign in to your Parallels account via your email [email protected] and activate Parallels Desktop. Upon activation on the new Mac you will see a warning that the license is already in use: 5. Click on Activate on This Mac and the current copy will be successfully activated. As a result, the license will be automatically deactivated on the old Mac. For more details, please check the article https://kb.parallels.com/en/123461 Thank you!
