    Hey Guys,

I have a 20GB external HD with windows 2000 installed which was removed from a my old DELL laptop.

Can I use parallels to boot that windows on my intel macBook ofer USB2?

I had it like that for a while but it was a little slow maybe if you just firewire to boot from with might make it faster? worth a shot right

That would probably need a hack. Have you thought about making an Acronis image of that information and then creating a virtual machine and restoring the Acronis to that. After you do that, you could put the .hdd file on the external.

    Just a thought.
