    Hi all,

I searched the whole web and this forum for answers and I couldn't find any. so please let me know if there is any link for the question.

I have bought three network cameras (wireless) and to install them, I need windows, and I need to connect the camera to the router, through Ethernet.

When I run the camera installation software from the CD, it searches for the camera then gives me the error: "Camera not found" and it says I need to make sure the is connected.

This is my setup: I have my iMac connected wirelessly to my Airport Extreme, and the Airport is connected with Ethernet cable to my linksys DSL modem (bridge mood)

To install the cameras, I need to first connect it and install it (Camera connected to router by Ethernet) and after installation, it "Should" work in the wireless network...

The cameras cost me $800+ and I live out of the US (can't return them) and I hope that there is a solution for this dilemma...

I realize this might not be much help, but I have heard some people here have had networking issues, and that they had to 'bridge' the Mac and Parallels connections to resolve - how, I am not sure myself, but just wanted to throw that your way FWIW.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it!

I tried looking in the settings, and I need more information as networking won't work unless there are specific instructions.

I hope someone knows how to do it...

Panasonic Network camera, worked for me

understand that you are unable to set up a network Camera via Parallels.

the issue you are facing may be resolved by configuring Bridged Network. To do so, please perform the steps below:

    1. Open the Virtual Machine Configuration dialog by choosing Virtual Machine >Configure.
    2. Select Network Adapter in the Hardware list.
    3. On the Network Adapter pane, make sure that the Enabled, Connected and Shared Networking options are selected.
    4. Click Ok

You may also refer to the following web site which provides resolution to some of the Networking issues:

    Thanks Jean-ManuelN!!

It didn't work, but when i changed the option to (bridged) rather than (shared) it worked!

i found the camera, but the stupid thing wants to find the wireless network now, and I am in another trouble...

the setup worked in finding the camera and naming it, and when it wanted to setup the SSID automaticly, it didn't find the network, because there is no "wireless device" in parallels windows...

    any ideas?
