I am using Parallels 17 standard edition on MacOS 10.15
The virtual machine is Ubuntu 20.04 - bridged network

I installed and operate an eMail-Server in Ubuntu successfully for quite some time now. If I scan the ports used from the host system (MacOS 10.15) I see the following open ports (scanned up to 1000): 22,25,80,110,143,443,587,993,995. When I installed the iRedMail Server there was no need to open any specific ports. All ports needed worked. I assumed that the VM would behave the same way any PC would. IMAP, WebMail etc work fine on the VM, the host machine, the lan and from the internet.

I have recently installed NetData (port 19999) and bind9 (port 53) - both of wich work perfectly from within Ubuntu VM.

The Problem: I am unable to connect to these services from the host system or any other system on the lan or the internet.
The firewall in Ubuntu is disabled and bind9 is listening on port 53 and the right IP. If I query bind9 from within Ubuntu I get immediate response. If I query the DNS Server from the host system or the Lan, I get a time out.

Does anyone know where the problem is and how I get these ports to be opened and visible from the host machine and the lan?
