How to USB Parallels on OS X

whats the official word on usb i read the manual and well let me explain whats happening..

USB drives seem to be a 50/50 thing in parallels..

1. i eject the drive in os x

2. i select the drive in paralles under the USB icon..

3. aftr a long time it shows up on the xp emu running...


but now no matter what i do parallels will not find the drive anymore?

its a WD 250 gb and as soon i eject it in os x its not available in the usb parallels drop down selection...

but if i select it 1st in parallels (before i eject in os x) i get a warning msg in os x about not ejecting 1st and memory could be lost. then parallels says my usb device is in use by another device and to unplug it and try again... but again IN the past i would eject it in os x 1st and then select in paralles and it worked 50/50.. now NOTHING...


no matter what i do i can't get convergence to work anymore.. any tips or ideas? when i select it NOTHING happens and i go back to check and its not selected anymore...

ay voy... i am usin parallels version prior to the 3.0 upgrade..

far better forget all that

Parallels Menu >> Devices >> Shared Folders >> Add

all my HD internal and external are networked

BTW the Mac Desktop folder is under your own user name
