I installed Parallels on a new macbook along with Windows 2000 Pro. However, I did not see anything to install/activate Coherence mode. When I pull up the Configuration Editor screen there is no line for Coherence either like it shows in the Parallels for Mac User Guide on page 107 of the guide. How do I install/activate Coherence? It's installed via Parallels Tools. To toggle it on, with your VM running go View -> Coherence

    Coherence mode is missing

Eru wrote something that sounds very reasonable:
"To toggle it on, with your VM running go View -> Coherence"

My View menu (with the VM running) does not have Coherence. It looks like this:
    Fullscreen
    Property Page View
    Console View
    Text Size
    Tool Bar
    Status Bar

I looked through the other menus and cannot find Coherence.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple; anyone know what it is?

    Thanks much,

    Never mind...

While my "Check for Updates" has a current date, it is for build 1970. Reading other forum posts, I now understand that I don't actually have Coherence mode in build 1970.

I am downloading 3188 and expect this will greatly improve matters.

    Thanks,
    Steve
