Hi, Has anyone managed to get the Autodessk Backburner server for 3dsmax to work on win7. The win7 server is listed on BB manager server list named macpro5925 (indicating the BB server is recognized and registered by the BB manager) However the BB manager gives the message "Unable to connect to 198.168.11.98: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" The 198.168.11.98 is ip of the host mac. Looks like the manager can not connect back to the win7 C-drive where the BB server is located and thus not being able to communicate directly with it. Any idea how to get that working?
What does bridged network mean? Looks like QuentinH managed to do this by setting the Network to Default Adapter (bridget) ?? see: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=106658&highlight=backburner Can someone clarify what does this mean and how to set it? AKS
