I have a VM that is grayed out in the control center, with access to it denied. I need help to remove (or rename) it. Our company's script creates a VM with a particular name - that's why I need to remove it.

    How I got there.
I am migrating between Mac laptops and copied my home directory over and tried to start a VM. It didn't start and got into this inaccessible state where I am getting "Access denied. You do not have rights to access this virtual machine". After that I removed the .prm file for that VM and built a new VM using our company's script. But the original VM still shows in the console grayed out. Is there a way to remove that part of the configuration?

    Thank you in advance!

To follow up: I solved the problem by restoring the manually deleted .prm for the VM from trash. At that point the control center allowed me to delete the VM.
