Verizon sends me my voice mails in emails with .wav files attached. I open them in Outlook 2010 running on a Parallels Win7 VM. When I double click to play the .wav file, the default program is GarageBand which won't play them. When I go into the Win7 Set Associations/Default Programs, I can't find Windows Media Player and it won't let me select a Mac program like Quicktime. Any suggestions?
Hi Doug, Please follow the steps mentioned below to set default program for .wav file. 1. First download a sample .wav file from email on Windows. 2. Right click > Properties > Change program > Apply. Try to open the file and let us know how it works.
