I set up the VM under my own user account but would like the actual user of this Mac to run it> I copied the two files (Hard disk and settings) first to /Users/Shared and then logged in as the second user and copied from there to ~/Library/Parallels. However when I try to start the VM I am told that the disk image is invalid. Editing the settings and pointing to the .hdd file do not solve the problem. Copy the two files back to my own user account again and all is well. What am I doing wrong here?
Once you have started the correct working VM. Then clone it using the Menu, you can define your own path there.
