    Hi all,

I have an OSX host and an Ubuntu vm/guest running nginx+Django. {my guest os ip} was found through ifconfig on the guest.

    From OSX Host:
    http://{my guest os ip}:8040 - doesn't work
    http://localhost:8040 - does't work
    http://127.0.0.1:8040 - does't work

    From Ubuntu Guest:
    http://{my guest os ip} - doesn't work
    http://localhost:8040/ - works!
    http://127.0.0.1:8040/ - works!

So my guess is that somehow nginx may not be passing requests from/for {my guest os ip}? I seem to recall this being a hosts file issue, but wondering if there is there a known easy way to configure this in Parallels? Ideally, I could just type http://localhost:8040 from my host and not have to consider the guest IP every time I restart.

    Thanks!

    B
