I'm interested to hear from other people how long it takes for Windows XP to start/pause for you. I tested it (I have a digital kitchen timer in my office) and it's about 40 seconds for each for me. I have Win XP Pro with 512MB of RAM allocated and an 8GB hard drive. (I'm specifically not asking about other versions of Windows or other Operating Systems for the purpose of this thread. I'd like to keep this specifically focused on Win XP (pro or home) for comparison purposes.)
