I have just upgraded to 3188. Everything seems to be working OK, except when I click on the button for coherence mode, nothing happens. I thought that I was supposed to be able to have windows from my WindXP mixed in with my mac windows. Put I can't see that choosing coherence mode does anything.

    Thanks

To use Coherence mode you need reinstall Patallels Tools. To reinstall Parallels Tools please do the folowing:

    1. Launch your Windows XP VM.
    2. Open Add/Remove programs control panel in Windows and remove Parallels Tools if present.
    3. Reboot Windows.
    4. Install Parallels Tools using "Install Parallels Tools.." menu item in the Action menu of the Parallels Desktop application.
    5. Reboot Windows.

    That's all.

    Can't use coherence mode

OK. When I first started up the 1388 version, it told me that I had an old version of the Parallels Tools. So I installed them. It didn't work.

So I have now followed your instructions: I went to Add-Remove programs and uninstalled Parallels Tools. I think I forgot the reboot step--although I did reboot if it prompted me to. I then resinstalled Parallels Tools and rebooted after that.

Now when I go to menu View and pick coherence mode, nothing happens. And if I go back to the View menu, it is still showing check mark by OS Windos (And this entire option is Grey).

    Thanks for your help.
