How do I stop files opening with Parallels after I've deleted it?

I had to delete Parallels a while back after I decided it was no longer of use to me. But when I try to open certain files it tells me I can't open it because Parallels wasn't detected. It's driving me mad please tell me how to stop it.

.INI files -- they're sound configuration files for a type of vocal synthesizer.

 

Note: I went into finder and deleted every Parallels related item and the problem is now solved.
