How do I start Windows 7 using my system repair disk?

I have a 64 bit windows 7 system repair DVD. I am trying to use it to restart windows. The directions are to hold down the F8 key on startup but pressing the F8 key on the Mac keyboard has no effect. Bottom line: how do you start up from a the DVD drive when you are running parallels on a Mac?

Try press and hold Shift key when restarting VM. It works in Win 8
