Im trying to play an online game on my VM, but i think its too laggy cause its not getting enough internet. does anyone know how to configure it so my VM gets either ALL of my internet or a leased more of it. thanks guys
The VM does get access to all of your internet bandwidth. There is no way to 'throttle' the bandwidth of your Mac to give Parallels more except by using some third party software I think. Otherwise it is shared as and when requested. It is likely that this performance problem is probably related to some other application running either on you Mac or your VM. One thing to try is to go to an connection speed test web site and get your connection tested.
you may need to disable lots of auto back up check mail update stuff both in Windows and Mac OS It may simply be the time of day and congestion after school on a rainy day and the net slows down for all of us Autralia comes on line first then UK then USA what ISP? which country? what kind of connection / rating?
