How do I install 3188 version from 3186?

Help!

I want to install the upgrade from 3186 (which I am running on now) to 3188.

Are there special instructions for this? Last time, I had to do an uninstall (which I consider special instructions because I have never had to do that with another software.)

So, hopefully someone nice and helpful can tell me if there are special instructions to upgrade to 3188 from 3186. (i.e. do i need to do an unistall again?)

FYI - I am a very basic user when it comes to tech stuff.

Well, there really isn't that much to do. Just download the package and run the installer and you should be done.

Back-up your .hdd file and your .pvs (Do a spotlight search for '*.hdd' and '*.pvs') file prior to running the update and if something goes wrong you have something to revert to. To back them up just drag and drop to an external hard drive (if you are on a budget and don't have one, just duplicate it and drag the duplicate to your desktop it is usually safe).

If anything goes wrong, just copy back your backed up files and let us know what happened.
