How Do I Get a Text-Only Parallels Tools Clipboard instead of HTML Text?

I am using Parallels 5, with a Windows XP Guest OS.

Under P4 and prior versions, the Parallels Tools cross-platform clipboard was text-only. So if I cut some text from Firefox on the Mac and pasted it into Word on the XP Guest, it lost all its formatting and became only text.

P5 apparently supports HTML text in the Parallels Tools cross-platform clipboard. So if I cut some text from Firefox on the Mac and paste it into Word on the XP guest, I get the HTML formatting.

Trouble is, I don't want the HTML formatting. I want just text.

How do I tell the Parallels Tools cross-platform clipboard to revert to the old behavior?

(I realize I can Paste Special, but that's a huge pain and I don't want to do that.)

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Looks like you can't disable this feature in PD5, but you can paste the text in some simple editor (that do not support HTML) firts. The TextEdit in MacOS or Notepad in Windows is ok. Then you can copy the text again in that editor, and all HTML information will be lost, so it will be pasted as text in Word.
