How can I use Win XP's alt+nnnn keyboard shortcuts for accents?

    Hi,

Yes, I know. The Mac's keys are being mapped so I don't have to, but... here's the situation.

I have installed Wordpress on a web server for a client, and have the FCK Editor running in it. The client, who uses Win XP, is having major problems inputting text in the FCK Editor because he needs to use a lot of foreign characters and is using a typical north american keyboard. In Word he's used to using the alt+nnnn key combinations and knows them well. So for example, to get the accent over the e, he uses alt+0233. But he keeps losing his recent edits when he does that.

To help him figure out how to do this so it works, I opened up my Win XP in Parallels. I can input text in FCK Editor in Wordpress using the typical Mac keyboard shortcuts, such as Option-e-e to get the accented e character. But when I try it using the alt+0233 combination, nothing happens. I looked into the Prefs to see if I could make the Mac keyboard behave like Windows expects, but haven't succeeded so far. Anyone know how I can do this?

    Rob
