Hi, I must give your team Kudos for such a Wonderful product ! And your response time to feedback and updates has been just tremendous ! You have a Wonderful team. I can't wait for the GA of this product. Am currently using Beta 6. I have seen one issue when using Host-Only networking with Win XP Professional and Solaris 10 (x86) : When the Guest OS (XP) uses DHCP to get an address, it does not get a Default Gateway and DNS servers so that it can talk to the Internet. Is this a known issue ? Or, it is intended to work that way ? If I configure it manually and setup Internet Sharing on the Mac, I can reach the Internet from the VM. This is really helpful in cases where I want to connect remotely to my corporate network and don't need to setup two VPN sessions (one from OS X and one from within the VM). At other times, when I want to host a NetMeeting or accept incoming connections (VNC etc), Bridged Networking does the job perfectly. Is there a plan to be able to switch between the two mechanisms without having to reboot the VM ? That would be a great ability. Either by having two virtual adapters - one configured for Bridged Networking and the other for Host-only from within the VM. I also tried out Solaris 10 (x86) but am not too impressed. When I close the lid (Mac) and reopen the Solaris VM hangs and needs to be rebooted (I guess Solaris doesn't do "Suspend" Management very well like Linux/Windows). Sometimes I also have to Reboot the Mac, since it freezes. Is this a known issue as well ? I appreciate all the hard work your team has been putting in in fixing issues and delivering fixes at such a quick rate. I'm amazed and have already pre-ordered this product. Will future (post GA) updates be free ? Thanks Regards Nishi
