Last week Google released version 32 of the Chrome browser. Since then, I am unable to use the trackpad to scroll horizontally in Chrome.

Steps to reproduce on a Windows 7 guest hosted by Parallels Desktop 9 (version 9.0.24172) on a MacBook w/ Retina display.
    1. Open Chrome.
    2. Navigate to any website.
    3. Size the browser window so that a horizontal scrollbar appears.
    4. Attempt to use the trackpad to horizontally scroll.

Let me know if you need more information. Horizontal scrolling appears to work fine in Firefox and IE.

    Thanks.

Support got back to me and had me do the following:

    * Please go to virtual machine configuration > Hardware > Mouse & Keyboard > Check / Uncheck smooth scrolling.
    http://kb.parallels.com/en/117287

    * Reboot your virtual machine and check the issue.

This fixed the issue for me.

    Thanks!

Could not scroll horizontally in a specific application: MYOB accountright 2017.2, which uses (their own?) Huxley.application.

Following your advice, I changed "smooth scrolling" from "on" to "off" and all is now OK. Not smooth, but working.

    Many thanks for this.
