This is what I want, and I think that many people want this, even if they don't already know it.

Being able to use a hotkey to seamlessly switch between OS X and the OS that I installed using a transition effect. (This part already exists) However, when I have my other OS running, there is always the console view of the OS while I'm in OS X. I want to HIDE that part.

I've tried using the hide and minimize function in OS X, but that then dosen't let you hotkey switch.

It would just be really nice to have it running in the background, but be able to hotkey back and forth whenever I want.

Really consider the benefit of having this feature!

This is easily achieved using VirtueDesktops. Set your VM to be on one desktop full screen and use OS X in another desktop. All the transitions are available, as well.
