Gang, I am using v 4.0.3810, and had a bunch of Windows updates piled up because I use it so infrequently. I ran the updates (including Internet Explorer from v7 to v8) without much incident except that when I restarted the machine it hung up on the "Windows is shutting down" and I had to do a reset to get it back. Once re-started and the updates installed, everything seemed to go ok, although IE8 crashed when I closed the app after the first time I ran it. But while running it, I noticed a few problems with the Hide Parallels Desktop and Hide Others functions in the Parallels menu. First, both commands were greyed out and non-functional. Then after working on some Mac apps then coming back to Parallels, they were reactivated. However, the keyboard equivalents (cmd-H and cmd-opt-H) did not work. In fact, they just typed a letter H in whatever field the cursor was in (I had IE open at the time). The menu command for Hide Parallels worked. The menu command for Hide others hid not only the other apps, but also minimized Parallels to my dock. So all in all both commands are pretty useless. I use the keyboard commands frequently in other apps, so I'd really like to get those sorted out for Parallels asap. Any suggestions? Thanks! Dennis
