firstly i am not too computer savy so excuse the probably dumb questions! for some reason i am having problems installing fedora 5 on paralells i download the DVD image to my hard drive and try and boot the iso image from the CD/DVD-ROM. why doesn't it work ? memory is set at 516? also when i do eventually get it set up i want to run some x-windows and graphics using openGL is there any issues i should be aware of? any help much appreciated Cheers T
What are the messages that you receive when you try to boot to the ISO image? Do you get these messages on the first image or a later one? What does 'doesn't work' mean? Describe what happens in more detail. Don't know why you upped the memory so high, but 256 should be more than enough.
