I am trying to install WinXP home edition SP2 on my macbook pro. I am stuck at the place where you press F8 to accept the Licensing Agreement. When I press F8 it seems to still be in the OS X OS since all it does is put up an icon image in the middle of the screen. I did select VM->Caputre Input and when I do this the mouse pointer disappears in the VM window. I had to hit enter to get this far into the installatiion and it accepted that OK, but I'm stuck at not being to enter F8 to accept the license agreement. What am I doing wrong? To get a function keypress on the macbook pro, you have to press the function key ("fn", lower left corner) and the function key you desire ("f8"). Otherwise the keypress will be interpreted by the window server to mean turning off your backlit keyboard.
