Folks, I need your help. I upgraded my mac to Lion and after installation it said that my parallel was deleted since it is not compatible. I am using Microsoft outside parallel but my files were stored inside parallel with the windows operating system. Now, the question, where are my files? As apparently the Lion deleted the parallel program? Please please help me. I am not a techy person.
You don't mention if you are using Boot Camp or a virtual hard disk. I've guessing virtual hard disk (a .pvm file), located, by default in the Parallels folder in your Documents folder. Right-click the .pvm and select show package contents. Then double-click the .hdd file in there that represents your VMs hard disk. It should mount as a drive on the desktop and you can get your files off. Steve
