I have searched the forums for an answer to this one, but I was unsuccessful. I am getting the error: Virtual machine Microsoft Windows XP cannot be opened since it is already used in another Parallels Desktop window. I found this thread: http://forums.parallels.com/thread6264.html But when I try to located the .pvs.lock file(s) they are not there. Please help!!!!
You get a message "Virtual machine Microsoft Windows XP cannot be opened since it is already used in another Parallels Desktop window" because you try to open VM which has been already started.
firstly.. what version of Parallels... this sounds like an old bug with earlier betas that was fixed.... If you are SURE your VM isnt running then you have to delete a rouge .lock file that has been left behind.. maybe after a crash.. Read this : - http://forum.parallels.com/post55395-5.html
