Hello, recently tried linux mandriva, ubuntu, kubuntu, opensuse, and although i liked linux, i found it (hard to explain) kinda not right, i recently learnt abount bsd, more specifically freebsd. I've downloaded the iso and want to try it in parallels before i consider a hard drive install. I'm not well experienced in bsd, unix or linux or setting them up. I set up linux fine. when i attempted to setup freebsd and it got to the partitioning part it appeared to have the power to alter my actual hard drive partitions. I definitely don't want this.
Is what i suspect correct or is their no way that parallels can affect my hard drive partitions.
